Whittlesea Physiotherapy was established in 2005 and services the township of Whittlesea and surrounding areas of Eden Park, Yan Yean, Doreen, Mernda, Humevale, Kinglake West, Kinglake and Flowerdale.

Meet Our Physiotherapists

Samantha Heyfron

Samantha Heyfron is the practice principal, establishing Whittlesea Physiotherapy in 2005.  She graduated from La Trobe University in 1994 and has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, hospital, rehabilitation and community health.

Samantha has undertaken extensive continuing education in the areas of Pilates, sports injuries, women’s health, low lever laser therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, business management, spinal and musculoskeletal conditions.

Adam White

Adam graduated as a Physiotherapist from La Trobe University in 2009. Since then he has worked in both in private practice and elite sport. He has practiced across Melbourne in a variety of private clinics and also practiced in London where his love of exercise and rehabilitation grew.

Adam has worked within many sporting settings including football, soccer and swimming. While Adam has a background in sports and gym-based exercise, he also enjoys applying his experience in assessing and treating chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, lower back pain and headaches.

Jennifer Loke

Jennifer is a Accredited Exercise Physiologist, providing 1-on-1 Exercise Physiology services as well as group based Pilates and Exercise Rehabilitation classes. Working across both acute hospital wards and the inpatient rehabilitation centre alongside senior Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists provided Jennifer with extensive experience in a diverse range of areas such as cardio-pulmonary, neurological, surgical, oncology and hydrotherapy.

Jennifer strongly believes in providing a client-centred approach to exercise and rehabilitation solutions that fit in with her clients’ lifestyles and busy schedules. Jennifer treats the whole person, not just the injury or condition.Jennifer’s areas of special interest include: women’s health (including pre/post natal, PCOS, endometriosis, menopause); persistent pain & fatigue; and osteoarthritis, osteopenia/ osteoporosis.

Leaha Libreri

Leaha has an extensive background in the health and fitness industries, rehabilitation and has previous experience working in the health sector as a Div 1 nurse.

Leaha also has certificate III and IV in fitness  and  certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.  Further studies include Pilates, Exercise Nutrition, Punchfit trainer and Posture assessment. Her passion is helping people recover from injuries as well as improving their health through exercise and movement.
